We have been casually looking for a new home for over a year now and nothing was quite right. We had some thoughts of building and did start looking for land but the right piece of property never came along. Then one day a new home popped up on the market and it had everything that we wanted in a house. We couldn't believe that our dream home had finally come onto the market. So we made a big leap and jumped - and we wound up being able to purchase it! That started a very quick two week period of prepping our current home to be put on the market. Thankfully, our home was only on the market for one week and then sold. The next few months consisted of going through all of our things, donating some, throwing out others and packing up the rest. We moved into our new place mid-summer and enjoyed it immensely!
In between all of the house packing and eventual moving, we spent some time camping, the older girls took in a week at Sami Jo Small's female hockey camp, time was spent at vacation Bible school, The Little Mermaid was watched at Rainbow Stage and Emily had another week at summer camp.
In September, new routines started as the older girls started grade four and grade two. Since we now live outside the city, they now take the school bus. Hockey has started up again along with violin lessons.
