July has been such a fun month for us! We have camped, taken a trip to Alberta and done lots of other fun things. We've been so busy I haven't had time to blog about all that we have been up to!
These are mostly picture posts but with so much to share and three kids, time is of the essence over here.
We hope you are all enjoying your summer as much as we have been! August has lots of more fun things in store including trips to Tinkertown, waterparks, camping and lots more!

Horseback Riding and St. Malo
The girls had their first chance to ride a horse this summer. My mom's friend Amy has horses and she invited the girls to come for a ride. Amy first taught me how to ride a horse and the girls had a blast. An offer of riding lessons ended the day but the jury is still out on that one!
Meet Sneak the horse.
We also took another camping trip - this time to St. Malo. The weather was wonderful and aside from a bit of rain one day, we had sunny skies and hot days - perfect for the beach.
Alberta!
We headed out to Alberta this summer as a friend of Greg's from college was getting married. We left Winnipeg and headed to Swift Current Saskatchewan on our first day of travel. After some time spent in the pool, the girls were exhausted!

We spent some great time in Granum, Taber and Lethbridge with good friends. The wedding was wonderful and it was so nice to see people that we haven't seen in ages! Unfortunately, all of the pictures from that time are on Greg's phone and not available to me at the moment. I'll post some of those later on. Once the wedding weekend was over, we headed up to the Calgary zoo. Here are some of our favourite animals...
I still can't believe she touched that thing...
It was really humid in the ape enclosure - hopefully you can make out the ape in this picture. Amazing.
After Calgary, we headed up to Edmonton to spend some time with the Huygen family. Here is a shot of our kiddies.
We also took a day trip to Ponoka to visit with the De Gier family on their dairy. I was very impressed with how clean the barn was and how technology is being used today in farming.
The girls pretending to be calves.
The girls all traveled really well - here is Danica holding Peyton's hand while watching a movie.
On our way home, we stopped in Yorkton - they had a pool and waterslide which was a hit!
